Only 16% of the Swiss Would Get Vaccinated against Corona Immediately

The Swiss are deeply suspicious of corona vaccines, as the 5th SRG survey conducted by the Sotomo research unit shows. 40,000 people took part in the survey. 29% do not want to be vaccinated at all, 18% intend to wait and 28% would accept vaccination only if no side effects are to be expected. The SWR, which reports on the results of the studies, points out at this point that “side effects of vaccinations used in Switzerland are swelling, redness on the skin, occasionally fever”.

However, the Swiss are right to fear not only slight, possibly temporary side effects with the corona vaccines currently under development, but also considerable vaccine damage.

The vaccines, most of which are based on a novel RNA/DNA method that has never been used in humans before, are expected to receive emergency approval after a development period of a few months. Normally the development of a new vaccine takes about eight years. With the regular, long development period, it should also be possible to detect and assess late damage.

It is customary to slowly increase the number of participants in the clinical trials over the years in order to be able to identify potential problems in the smallest possible number of test persons, i.e. in potentially injured persons. Currently, vaccine studies are carried out in a so-called telescopic procedure. Studies with a small number of test persons run parallel to studies with a larger number of test persons. Long-term effects and side effects, especially of the nanoparticles contained in the gene vaccines, therefore can not be adequately investigated, a fact that many Swiss people are well aware of despite the fact that the main media report differently.
